Do I need a new login for Warrior Letters?
Yes. You will need to create a new account for LetterTrac.com to send letters. (register)
What is a Warrior Letter?
Warrior letters are an easy and fast way to send mail to your recruit or service member. Letters are expressed mailed to recruit and candidate mail rooms 3x a week. All letters include a pre-addressed stamped envelope so your loved one can immediately write back.
How many characters can I type?
There is no limit to the character counts for your letters. We recommend limiting letters to 3 pages based on the amount of time recruits get to read mail.
How many photos can I add?
You can add three photos, which are printed in color.
How much is it to send a Warrior Letter?
The cost is less than $1.95 per letter, which includes the return postage for your recruit.
Is tracking included?
Yes. You will receive an email when your letter is sent and delivered to the base.
Do you mail the letters to my recruit?
Yes. We express mail letters 3x a week. START SENDING LETTERS
Does LetterTrac violate OPSEC?
No. If you use LetterTrac we require that you provide us with a mailing address. This allows us to complete your request to track your letters according to USPS protocol. Recruit mailing addresses are not considered classified information or OPSEC. Recruit training mailing addresses are public knowledge and classified as PERSEC. At LetterTrac, we encrypt and protect your PERSEC information.
Does LetterTrac violate PERSEC?
No. We protect your PERSEC (PII) information. [PII – Personally identifiable information is information that can be used on its own or with other information to identify, contact, or locate a single person, or to identify an individual in context.] We use Amazon Web Services, HTTPS, and USPS protocol to protect your PII. All data collected is through Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS) is used for secure communication over a computer network and is widely used on the Internet. In HTTPS, the communication protocol is encrypted using Transport Layer Security (TLS)
How long does it take for my recruit to get my letter?
We use 2-3 day shipping to deliver to the recruit's mailroom every M/W/F. They will receive an envelope with your return address.
Does the military endorse LetterTrac?
Military commands and the Department of Defense never endorse 3rd party products & services, including LetterTrac. However, they do encourage families to use products and services that are OPSEC/PERSEC compliant and follow all state/federal laws.
